Kym Sellers is a popular radio personality in Cleveland and has affectionately been called Cleveland’s girl friend. She hosts a radio program that airs weeknights from 7pm -12 midnight called the Quiet Storm. She has served as a columnist for the Cleveland Life magazine, a free lance reporter for WKYC TV3 and WEWS TV5. She has also appeared on Fox 8 News as an American Idol analyst. Amazingly enough she is the mother of 4 beautiful girls, a community leader, the president of The Kym Selllers Foundation and a member Alpha Kapa Alpha Sorority Inc. and an active member of her church.
Sellers founded the Kym Sellers Foundation as a direct result of being diagnosed with MS in 1992. It is a Not for Profit organization which provides support to individuals with MS in Northeast Ohio.
The Foundation is open to individuals living with MS regardless of race, religion, or socio-economic background. The mission of the foundation is to provide education, support and resources to individuals with MS and their families in order for them to attain and sustain a quality of life commensurate with others. The foundation offers services that include educational programs, individual and group support, and resources for therapies and research.
